What do I do to prepare for a spray tan?
•Shower, exfoliate and shave the night before your tan. If you do this the day of your tan, the colour will not show up as nicely
•Do not use any oil based lotions after your shower as this leaves a residue between the skin and the tanning solution
•Do not wear any makeup, deodorant or hanging jewelry to your appointment (earrings are fine)
•Wear the baggiest, darkest clothing you have! (Seriously the baggier, the better!) If you can get away with not wearing a bra to your appointment- even better!
•Wear your hair up in a bun or pony if possible (or bring a hair tie)
•Disposable underwear is provided but if you are more comfortable with your own OR if you want to wear a strapless top for your tan you can bring that as well. However, you can fully tan in the nude, whatever you are most comfortable with.
Will I turn orange?NO!! I know a lot of you have turned orange from spray tans in the past but The SunnaTan solution has been perfected so you will NOT turn orange. Only golden brown tans here.
How long should I get a tan before my event?I would typically say 2 days before your event. For example, if your wedding was on a Saturday, I would suggest to get your tan on the Thursday night but if you are getting the Quickie tan, you can get it one day or even the morning before your event!
Will I be streaky?NO!! I know a lot of you have gone streaky from spray tans in the past but The SunnaTan solution has been perfected so you will NOT have streaks. If you properly follow the pre- tan instructions, you are guaranteed a flawless tan every time!
How do I get rid of the tan once it starts to fade?A SunnaTan exfoliating mitt and X-TAN remover will do just the trick. Gently exfoliate the tan off your skin and always moisturize after.
Will the tan stain my clothes or sheets? SunnaTan will not stain clothing or sheets. If any excess tan rubs off on your clothing or sheets, just pop it in the washing machine and they will be as good as new!
